Review on Mandoline Vegetable Stainless Adjustable Resistant by Raquel Lopez

It's stainless steel, nice and seems solid but I wish it came with instructions. Of course, using the mandolin speaks for itself - move the veggies back and forth to cut them, right? Well, the first thing I did was cut off pieces of the "holder" for vegetables because I was holding it wrong. Remember that there is an arrow on the dark plastic that shows the forward and backward direction of movement. I didn't notice the dart and nice thin slices of black plastic soil landed between my carrots. It wasn't hard to pull it out so there wasn't much damage other than I'm pretty sure the plastic had cut the blade in a few places. Well, right at the gate my new mandolin gets damaged by me. A quick start guide would have prevented this - yes, I read them when I'm unfamiliar with a new gadget. I've used it many times since then and it works well and is good value for money. I recommend this product. Four stars for my above reasons. **Edit: This seller took care of my issue without my asking. They sent a replacement for the mandolin. I am very satisfied and have changed my rating to 5 stars!
