Review on 🔌 Renogy Wanderer 10 Amp Solar Charge Controller Regulator with Bluetooth Module for 12V/24V System by Jacob Guerrero

The first review of my life. I first bought it on 01/28/2020 for $17.99. I finally got around to installing it today. The first thing I noticed were the screw eyelets for connecting cables. was the opposite turn of what you might think. Normally tighten clockwise. All 6 tabs were tightened counterclockwise. The second thing I noticed was that the screw came loose when I tried to tighten the tabs. It was impossible to tighten the wire in the tip. Maybe thinner wires would work better. I tried connecting wire #10. this was recommended for a 100w solar panel multiplied by the cable length. (PS - BTW, #10 wire doesn't match the grommets. I had to downsize the wire to make it fit). One way or another, the cable pulled out of the controller easily. I was going to call tech support but when I found out the new price for the controller. I decided to throw away the controller and write this review. New price from 05/22/2020. (just 4 months later) was $31.15. UNACCEPTABLE on many levels. Not to mention the time wasted trying to get the job done right for my client.
