Form Fit Lacking on my review.
The battery charged right up in my drop in charger for my TK-481 and everything seems to be working fine. The battery is a bit thicker and does weigh more than the stock Kenwood battery. More bothersome is that the form fit is extremely tight on my radio. I had a bit of difficulting putting the battery on and a lot of trouble getting it off. I'm sure it will work fine and for the price point, I would recommend it with the understanding that it is a VERY tight fit. Pic included showing the stock battery (slimmer) vs this battery.

- Limited Compatibility: While the KNB-17A NiMH battery is marketed as being compatible with a range of Kenwood radios, it only works with a select few models. This limits its usefulness and may not be an ideal option for those seeking a universal battery
