Review on Nokian Tires Nordman 7 175/70 R13 82T Winter by Luben MaxFight ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Im not particularly happy, but basically everything is fine.

Sadly, this is the situation whenever the advertisement is concerned. It guaranteed extremely good quality, however this is nothing more than a guarantee...... In general, a typical rubber with performance that is about as good as average. Maintains a perfect balance with no issues. After three seasons, or approximately 20,000 miles driven, the spikes are securely in place and the steering wheel does not interfere. On the highway, you should feel comfortable driving on both wet and dry pavement. Not a terrible performance considering the harsh freeze of -15 to 20 Celsius Poor performance in snow with loose particles Poor performance on both long bends and ramps and interchanges, with consistent longitudinal slip. The performance was terrible on the wet slush. On this rubber, you need to drive with extreme caution because it is physically impossible to slip, and if you do, you will never regain control of your vehicle. Only a very smooth dosage of gas, and the same brake, because else the ABS will only crackle ineffectively and there will be no deceleration. I experimented with varying the pressure (from 1.8 to 2.3), but it had no effect. Although it did not have a significant impact on the hook, it can be heard chatting along with the track. Left 2.2. The conclusion that can be drawn from everything is as follows: there is no technological miracle, it is not at all worth the money, and all that is involved is regular rubber. It turned out to be offered at a discounted price; therefore, there is no use in pursuing it further. And the answer is yes, I did drive for four seasons on Nordman 5, which had unquestionably superior and more predictable behavior in all regards compared to model 7, despite the fact that there were a lot fewer spikes. I wasn't very familiar with the concept of getting trapped. They have evacuated their home a total of seven times already this winter. Even if I'm not thrilled about it, I won't try to talk you out of it because ultimately the decision is yours. But on a personal level, I will adjust.

Pros
  • Excellent control on both dry and wet pavement. Performance on ice that is around average
Cons
  • Absolutely none is allowed when turning corners. She is completely out of her element when it comes to wet snow porridge.
