If you're buying this for work at the weekend think again. I was hoping someone could tell how long it would take, the answer is 2.5 weeks if you devote a few hours a day. (True story) I had to buy another set of Michaels brushes because the first ones were falling apart. I also ran out of the black color but this was an easy fix. Overall I'm impressed with how well everything is put together because the final image is pretty accurate. Cons: color runs out, time consuming and very difficult to read numbers. This is definitely not for beginners as the smallest spots; The tip of the brush is too big. You need patience and a big vision. Although I wouldn't say it's difficult. Some sections are not numbered at all. Sometimes I'd turn up with a "smudge" where a cup or vase should have been, so I tried to copy the little picture it came with. It's definitely better than hours of tv at night and makes you happy with the end product. I would do it again. If you need a recommendation, mentally cordon off a small area. I started in the top left corner and am working in sections. It's easy to correct mistakes this way, and the picture seemed to piece together faster. To attempt! It's fun when you have time!
