Easy to install but requires customization to specific kayak. When loading, we have to monitor the contact with the car paint. I use a rug or floor mat to load onto my truck. Once set up, loading the kayaks does not take long. Once loaded, the kayaks will not move. I use hood straps that make it easy to tie down the front of the kayak without having to tie the straps to the hood paint. Also, since the kayak is facing up, you need covers for all rain vents, and they need to be very tight. I lost a cover that I thought was pretty safe.
