For those who have installed different brands of D1S lamps in projector housings, these OSRAM lamps correspond to their German quality. The lamps match perfectly in terms of color and brightness. (tested with colorimeter and lumen meter). I found their color around 6500K after fully warming up. This may change slightly after a break in the period, which is usually around 40 hours. I also went to the OSRAM website and confirmed that these are indeed original German OSRAM lamps. If you know that quality matters, these lamps are definitely worth their price. UPDATE: My D1S OSRAM bulbs are now broken in and working great. After over 40 hours break-in time they have a perfect color match for both 6850K bulbs (tested with a colorimeter). I find that these 35w bulbs can be up to 10% brighter than regular 35w HID bulbs. These lamps are marked "Offroad" but this may be due to European ECE requirements. When these lamps are properly aimed into the projector body, they don't worry about incoming traffic.
