Vehicle fitted in: '08 Volvo C30 Used fire extinguisher: Car bracket Fire extinguisher (2.5lb Halotron I) But there is almost no room in my car for such brackets and hangers I decided to close it try, and if that doesn't work, I'm going to install it on my wife's big SUV. It seems that I will order a new one - even with small gaps, it got up normally. My car has some plastic pieces on the edges of the seat tracks meant to decorate those ends or whatever so I just removed them. The instructions provided were very clear and to the point, with color photos covering both assembly and fitting into the vehicle. A minor annoyance is that they actually paint these parts and the paint has to be scraped off with some force in the threads when assembling, but other than that it's a fantastic product. Even with a fire extinguisher hanging from it, legroom doesn't suffer. I've always wanted to have a fire extinguisher in my car, but I was concerned about what kind of trim on the upholstery I'd ruin by just installing a bracket. No more fear, no more broken cushions on the pillars and peace of mind to boot.
