I don't know if my video output is TB2 or Mini-DP 1.4, but this cable is labeled "TB2 and Mini-DP to Displayport" and works when I connect my Valve Index VR headset. to my HP Omen 17T laptop from CUK. My laptop has an internal NVIDIA RTX 2080 super mobile graphics card and it's the first mini DP to DP adapter that allows me to play VR games on my laptop. It (my laptop) heats up under load but gives me the ability to travel using my virtual reality skills.
