I like this Danco style replacement with a float on the stem more than the other generic replacement with a float surrounding the fill tube that doesn't go very far to the valve held. began to flow. The repair went quickly and easily. While there are adjustments for float/water height, these are pretty good, but you may have to flex the float rod a bit to get it where you want it (I didn't need it). This repair kit includes a nice flexible rubber flap valve (flush valve). My toilet doesn't use a round snap loop around the fill tube, I cut it off and it fits and works fine. The instructions were mediocre, small print, there is a clear illustration showing how everything fits together. There are some extra parts that you may or may not need depending on the model. So far I'm happy with this repair build and would buy it again, but if it fails prematurely I'll update the drop post. Chlorine based cleaners (like Kaboom's product) can be very damaging to toilet tank hardware, I expect more frequent repairs when using them.
