I've recently upgraded my kitchen knives and slicers, mainly because I've only had used ones. A few holidays ago I received a freshly sharpened knife and realized what a joy it is! Turns out I couldn't sharpen serrated knives, so I picked this one. Wow! It's so spicy I've sliced crusty bread without leaving any crumbs! And it's easier to get thinner slices because this knife is well balanced too. This is a beautiful looking knife with a chiseled pattern on the blade, richly colored wood grain on the handle and even a little inlay on the handle. This knife made me realize that a beautiful knife is a decoration when I hung it on a magnetic knife holder on the wall. The cover is great for a presentation or even a gift!
