I love this sheet. This is a real luxury in its softness, smooth texture, beautiful lining and embroidery on the top. I ordered a queen size but could do with a full size as it is a very generous queen. I suppose you could say linen is an acquired taste. This is definitely not a permanently pressed, freshly ironed dress straight out of the bag. It will soften as it is washed, dried and even smoothed and straightened by hand. If you love linen, chances are you've learned to live with it gracefully. Many people find it difficult to love underwear if it's not perfectly ironed. I'll leave it to you to decide whether or not you have linen "potential". I washed it, dried it and put it on the bed to iron. The next wash was much easier to fold and iron. And continues to do so. Linen is more expensive than cotton or microfiber, but it's definitely worth spoiling yourself! Linen is known for its durability and comfort and this sheet definitely gets high marks from me!
