Review on CARBYNE Piece Extra Long Socket by Robert Yates

Haven't used this in the field yet, will update if needed. First, great price. The tools are made in Taiwan, which I've always taken as a great indicator of quality. Anyway, the cover is good, but hmm. The latches on the case have me worried about how it will perform in the long run. I'll be posting how things are going in the field soon. One thing that initially bothered me was that on the smaller ones the shank was round instead of hex which made repairing the tool in the field a unique experience. Wanted to give 4 stars because of the round shank instead of the hex, but the shank is at least thicker and because the plastic clasp is loose. Instead, we'll see how it holds up in the field. An unrelated note, but the manufacturer (company owner) emailed me asking for a product review. Time will tell how this tool works.
