I really don't know why I got this. My cat has wrinkled her nose in most of the beds I've given her, and has no interest in climbing crates or her other pop-up tunnels. But she likes my fleece and fluffy blankets, so I decided to give it a try. Well she tried to get into this cat tunnel before I could put it together. I was worried it might be too small for her but was surprised at how big it was when it arrived - the red tabby in the ad must have been photoshopped or it was a giant. The tunnel is large enough to sit or stand in without crouching (8.5 pounds, 10.5 inches to shoulder). But she doesn't sleep in it. She jumps on him from the bed and flattens him. From there, she launches sneak attacks on the toys. She uses the outside as a kicker. I even saw her rolling down the hall with it - sometimes inside, sometimes outside. She fights it until she is completely exhausted. After weeks of daily hard play, it still looks brand new. When it was new, a few buttons were difficult to fasten, but you just have to be careful not to snag the fluffy fabric. I get more of this.
