I was so excited when I found this batch of 10 Kantha Quilts and was excited to receive them. They arrived on time and were very tightly packed and wrapped. But then I unpacked them. I was expecting the old fabric to smell vintage but it was really bad. Super musty smell. I had to wash them twice in oxygen scented detergent and with dryer sheets hoping the smell would linger. I love the colors and variety of patterns and only had one that had a significant blemish. Two have been repaired which is good, it adds to their artisan nature. Fingers crossed I get rid of the smell or they will be sent back.
