I had one of these controllers and will be buying another in the future. When properly adjusted, they modulate your brakes in proportion to your downforce. Insert it into the application line in the sensor for best results. You can also activate it with the trailer handbrake and steer the trailer independently of the tractor, just like with regular trailer air brakes. There is also a lever on the device. The control lever is also an adjustment, by turning it you can change the trailer braking intensity.
