It is far superior to other electric gravel cleaners on the market. Other vacuums use a bag with tiny holes that affect suction, these holes clog very quickly and water cannot exit and the bag needs to be flushed to continue - it may take 3-5 flushes to clean a 30 gallon to suck aquarium. This gravel vacuum uses multiple layers of sponge so you can use it many times without losing suction. It was easy to assemble and offers a whole range of different vacuum heads for different circumstances. The seller is very friendly and will help you solve any problem you have. I have a few criticisms but the vacuum cleaner still deserves 5 stars compared to other vacuum cleaners: - where I fear there might be too much suction power. Sucking the fish - the on/off switch on the wire is too far from the vacuum handle, making it difficult to turn off quickly in an emergency - after turning off and taking it out of the water, water is still left in The machine driving from above and below , can leave a bit of a mess - the lever can be difficult to lengthen/shorten when moving between tanks of different depths
