Ports regularly stop working. HDMI cables and USB cables are not properly shielded in KVM connection ports as they do not fully fit into KVM jacks. I do not recommend the product. There are better product options that work as described. This one returns. I managed to get the beeper working - turns out you need to connect the power supply for this function. However, my wireless mouse was intermittent and the HDMI cables didn't fit well and lost video because the ends weren't fully inserted into the switch. If the last two issues were solvable, I would keep the switch as the auto-switch feature is very useful for multiple computers. I bought another kvm that does the job and works with the wireless network and cables don't get lost but it lacks the auto switch feature. . If the seller solves these two problems, I would recommend buying this switch.
