Works quite well on warm nights, better on cool nights. I use it in combination with a whole house fan and a pedestal fan to get the most out of it. But it doesn't do much when it's set to a lower level. Works best at the highest settings. However, does what I intended, which is to increase the amount of time I could survive without having to pull up the window block. This helped bring down utility bills almost in the first half of summer. As long as the temperature stays below 80, you will be fine. Once it's over 88 or so, you're going to want something stronger. In general, it looks pretty solid and costs $16. Although it's probably not worth more.
