Review on πŸ”ͺ Victorinox 3.25 Inch Black Paring Knife: Premium Quality Kitchen Tool by Jamal Gignilliat

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stamped thin blades are a blessing to this world.

In the world of kitchen knives, cheap = bad. And frankly, there are a lot of cheap bad knives and a lot of expensive good knives. But it's one of those exceptions in the world where it's cheap and one of the best things in my kitchen. The secret of this guy's success lies in his amazingly thin blade. This has the dual benefit of cost savings for the manufacturer and simplicity and speed regardless of sharpness. Thick forged blades become useless when dulled, but not this type. And soft steel makes it easy to sharpen to perfection with just a honing stick. If this thing gets too cracked to sharpen on a pole I won't even break out the stone, I'll just buy another one as they are so cheap to replace. Find.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • The price that breaks the piggy bank
