This is a great monitor for the price. Gaming at 100Hz is fantastic as advertised, although you may need to purchase a separate DisplayPort cable for 100Hz (or a mini-Displayport to Displayport cable in my case). HDMI output is only 85. Last time I checked that HDMI 2.0 supports 100Hz, I'm not sure why that option was only available through DisplayPort. It is recommended to remove the dust cover from the back panel BEFORE connecting the device. Power cord and HDMI/Displayport cable. Don't make the same mistake I did and try to wire something to the installed panel. This will upset you greatly. The photos here on Revain show the monitor with the panel already removed so I would expect you to remove it for easier access, but it can be reinstalled. The flex is pretty aggressive and games look amazing. The rest of the text is a little blurry, but mostly fixed with ClearType. If you want sharper text on a similarly spec'd monitor, you'll likely have to shell out an extra $300 to upgrade to 1440p. For the price, this monitor is great! There are even built-in speakers that can be used in a pinch. You're not very good, but I mean. These are monitor speakers, what do you expect? Overall I am not disappointed with this monitor. If you are looking for a superior gaming experience, look no further!
