Fits my 2004 FXT like a glove. Was a little worried about early reviews (16-17 reviews) but buying new from DB Electrical was great. They provided an excellent print out of the alternator computer test which proved helpful and QA/QC appears to have improved greatly since those early reviews. Comes with a nut and washer for the electrical connector (under the red cap) which was a nice touch. Does exactly what you're asking: Fits great, turns well by hand, turns off the battery indicator instantly, doesn't explode. Good value for money. Also, there is no main fee!
