BEWARE! Mounting brackets welded on incorrectly, will not install correctly!
I purchased the full kit with rolling wheels as well as three additional extension rails in order to make a rolling ladder bookcase. I was shocked to find the mounting brackets were welded completely out of line. The brackets were improperly welded to the rails, making it impossible to correctly install this item.Furthermore, one of the rails is not uniform with the other three, with smaller sized brackets welded on the rail. I’ve attached a photo of this as well as a video that shows how the rails "rock” when placed on a flat surface, making it impossible to install flush. The whole purpose of this item is to create a smooth running surface for wheels to glide on. That’s impossible they way they’ve been constructed.
- Exactly what I needed for a book shelf ladder. The black color is perfect and it was easy to install.
