Not many people really need to measure to within 1mg (0.001g) but if you do you must be prepared to pay over $1,500 for the scale . This $20 scale is accurate at least 5 mg (176 million ounces) and probably a little better when it's fully aligned, what you're weighing is in the center of the bowl, the air in the room is still, that was new. calibrated and the device switched on for a few minutes.
