I have cooked with it 3 times since purchase. Made steaks twice and burgers once. I was very happy to see grill marks on the steak when I turned it over. These mats transfer heat very well. I was concerned that this might block the heat and make the grill look more like an oven, but that wasn't the case at all. The best thing about the cooking process, especially with burgers, was that juice lost during cooking didn't drip onto the grill, causing flare-ups. This effectively allowed the meat to cook in its own juices, resulting in an amazingly juicy end result. Cleanup was pretty easy, but depending on how much you've been cooking, you can carry a large amount of "stuff" from the grill to the sink. However, I would rather do that than having to clean the grill of dirt afterwards. Great product, great results and the easiest and cheapest upgrade for your grill. Even old rusty grills won't do anything because your food never touches them.
