So here's the problem we currently have in 2021: There are very few monitors that use USBC as their primary data source. And there are fewer and fewer ports on laptops. Therefore, if you are a consumer with the following circumstances, you might want to reconsider your purchase: 1. You have a PC/Laptop with very few USBC Thunderbolt 3 ports. If you don't have ports, using this product will be very difficult. Here's the main problem: there are very few DisplayPort to USBC cables or HDMI to USBC cables. As in the current state almost all monitors accept HDMI or DP and NOT USBC, all outputs are HDMI/DP and input TB3. This means you MUST connect this portable monitor to USBC output to use it. I've searched all Amazon websites and found virtually no hub/dock with multiple TB3 outputs that can send data to this monitor. to make it work. They usually have 3 HDMI ports and 1 DP port, so you can connect 4 monitors to one hub/dock, BUT THERE IS NO HDMI/DP in TYPEC. All cables are TypeC to HDMI/DP. I've had a 3 monitor system for a while as my laptop has HDMI and TB3; so I can connect this monitor to my TB3 laptops (this is the only USBC that is also needed to power (PD) so I can connect an outlet to this monitor and then connect the monitor to my laptop. I then have HDMI turned on my laptop to connect to another monitor, however I didn't like that a) all the ports on my laptop were occupied (so if I wanted to move I had to disable everything and because my laptop had so few ports would i have to unplug this monitor to get another usbc if needed so i got a hub so i can plug everything into it and then my laptop only has one cable from it to the hub but this hub doesnt have a usbc that outputs data, it's just USB-C power and data, used for keyboard (data) or charging things. And the picture doesn't even look like 8K 120Hz. Would be good with HDMI or even VGA. st Some laptops don't even send output over USBC (if they have USBC). In fact, you should consider buying it.
