I purchased a pair of these chairs for our bedroom, replacing the zero-gravity folding chairs we've been using for years for easy TV-watching, reading, browsing the Web, etc. My wife and I are quite surprised how comfortable they are, for the price. We chose them because they are narrower than normal reclining "home theater" chairs and fit our space well enough, flanking our king-size bed on either side. We could even place a small table next to each, while still leaving plenty of room to get by them easily.They were simple to assemble (only 2 main pieces per chair) but the sections were heavy (and sturdy) enough that I had to bring them up the stairs one piece at a time. The recliner function is great. We both decided the first "stage" of recliner was enough, and that the second stage (fully-laid back) was a bit of a precarious balance, especially for taller or heavier folks. We chose the fabric-covered chairs because we prefer them to faux-leather (too sticky in the summer and too cold in the winter), and even if they only last a few years, they are inexpensive enough to replace without breaking the bank.Finally, I was ready to dismiss the fairly primitive back massage unit (no memory, only 2 back nodes), but, it turns out, I'm really growing fond of it and even look forward to my nightly massage "sessions." This is an added benefit that makes this chair the right choice for us.
