I bought this for my 2003 Honda CR-V. All other auto parts stores will force you to buy a complete ignition cylinder assembly for $200-$400. A lot of these Hondas have problems with inhibitor switches failing, ignition toggle switches were 3 out of 4 so I was pretty sure I only had to replace that part. Some things I learned: Once you've passed the bolt safety check (hammer and chisel worked best for me), this part is incredibly easy to replace. When I first went to have this part replaced I thought it was wrong and that it wouldn't fit. What I had to do was replace the little lever that sticks out of the lock cylinder. Just pop off the little plastic cover and it pops right off (be careful not to lose the little pin or spring under the armpit). Finally, to avoid reprogramming the key, I very carefully cut the chip out of the old one and put it in the socket of the new key. Also, you can keep the old key on the new one and the immobilizer will continue to read the chip. I would give 5 stars if I had 2 keys. Otherwise it's great and saved me a few hundred dollars.
