Review on Schlage 994831 Padlock 2 5 Inch Shackle by David Miller

(Sadly I'm updating my rating to downgrade 5 stars to 3 stars. I was very happy with these locks and until recently thought they were extremely high quality and reliable - now one of them my internal to the extent that it no longer always latches or locks. Of course my 2 locks have been opened and closed several times a day for the last few months but they should also withstand heavy use.. I left my original rating untouched below, but I thought that should update it to warn people this happened to me.Now I'm eyeing another brand of heavy duty key-like locks.) They're heavy, strong and durable, well made locks. I find that they would be quite difficult to pluck, also very difficult to cut or break. I like the convenience of having one key that opens both locks. The set of two locks comes with 4 keys, which saved me from making copies. The shackles are thicker than I thought which is very good and helps make these locks strong. I am happy with the purchase.
