Review on Sony SLV N71 4 Head Hi Fi VCR by Peris Auditore

I bought this item for an elderly couple who have a lot of VHS tapes in their home and can't replace their DVD. I knew trying to buy a working VCR would be a problem due to the age of these devices. This item has been declared working. It came with the outer cover removed from the machine. Also included was a universal remote that does not work with the machine. I screwed up a videotape trying to get the machine to work. I had to disassemble the machine to remove the tape from the machine which was initially not in working condition. I am not expecting a refund for the machine as the seller obviously knew the machine was not working from the start. I am very disappointed with this purchase. I am an avid Amazon customer and have never had this experience in the past. In my opinion this item was falsely advertised and the seller knew it didn't work. Maybe you got me for money, I hope you're happy with yourself. Many Thanks.
