Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.
Although noisier than summer tires, these are noticeably quieter than older winter tires (Gislaved Nordfrost). On asphalt, whether dry or rainy, the road is always perfectly maintained, giving the impression of traveling in a rail car. Small road vibrations were noticeably reduced on the steering wheel. To ride one of these is a delight. It's like driving a brand-new automobile. Currently, manufacturing is still taking place in Japan.
- EXTREMELY dogged! Superb traction on both dry pavement and slippery surfaces. Much less noisy than the preceding Gislaved. Tires with a Made in Japan stamp on them.
- no longer missing. Perhaps it's the price; at $4,200 for a single balloon, it's not exactly cheap.
