I have been updating thing all around my old house and one thing I changed out was the old, flat mirror that was screwed into the wall behind the vanity. I got a great deal on one of those fancy LED light ribbons in the mirror (about an inch in from the outer edge of the mirror). It is oval instead of square like the old mirror, but that's fine - I LOVE that it has a light ON the mirror that has three light effects plus it has an antifog button so when taking a shower in that bathroom, you can press that button and it keeps the mirror from fogging up! How cool is that?!? So since it was an oval shape, that meant I had some wall space around it that I could snazzy up and this tile was just right for that! It's subtle yet really elegant and does not compete with or make the wall behind the mirror "pop out" as if it was what you should be looking at instead of y'know, looking at yourself in the mirror! I limited the tile to just above the small vanity to the ceiling and because the mirror is oval, I didn't have to worry overmuch about the cut edges behind it (since it sticks out about 2 inches from the wall). These stick really well and were very easy to cut and place and like I said, they made that small strip of wall that is not covered by the mirror look really elegant. Love the new look!
