The mat is thick, not one of those thin ones. The material is smooth and very soft when u step on it or press your hands into it its like memory foam but the imprint doesnt stay and that i like. Its 6 feet long and 32inches wide (2 and a half feet wide) Im a very wide heavy set person and my body is completely on the mat with room on the sides so it doesnt look small at all. The mat came in a bag that your supposed to carry it in but the bag was very thin and ripped on day one trying to take the mat out and if you dont roll the mat super tight its hard to get back in the bag almost like the bag is too small for it. I ditched the bag and instead use this stretchy black tie that came with the bag and i tie it around the mat and carry it that way. So much easier. The mat looks a lil different from the pictures on Walmart but i like it either way.
