Review on American Bass VFLCOMP2K Competition Amplifier by Ben Diesel

***********BIG UPDATE************FOR ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED, IT'S SEPTEMBER 2020 AND I SWEAR THE AMPLIFIER GETS MORE POWERFUL FOR ONE MONTH. I SERIOUSLY WITHOUT EXCESS, MY 2 SONS AND FRIENDS ALL FEEL THE SAME. WE WENT TO FOOTBALL TRAINING AGAINST OTHER NIGHT, SOUND GREAT, SUB LEVEL AT -6 IT'S "NEGATIVE SIX" AND BASS FROM 3-12" subwoofers that make my Fox 40 coaching whistle bounce the least Soft bass hangs 1/2 inch out the rearview mirror, but when it falls like Lil Wayne, it slams into the windshield at volume 15 out of a maximum of 35. After practice, the truck started and we all and the cars next to us, friends, snapped and stared At each other because the volume was turned down On ramping up to 6 out of a maximum of 35, Lil Wayne "AMILLI" banged bass and startled me The boys and I and friends were parked in cars on either side It was like the volume was at 15 or more went up.. and again, checked again, and yes the low end was still minus 6 (-6) so I turned it down to minus 10 as low as I could and when I cranked the volume up to 10 it was 10 out of 35. My coach's whistle hit the windshield yew so hard it broke my whistle is fox 40 so i said before, i'll say it again. if you don't have this amp and are looking for performance and quality and not breaking the bank to get it. BUY THIS AMPLIFIER, YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT! ****UPDATE IN STATUS AS THE ORIGINAL REVIEW IS 1 YEAR SOON THIS AMPLIFIER IS 100% NO QUESTIONS ANYONE SEARCHES SUBWOOFER FOR CAR AUDIO WITHOUT DOUBT AND HESITATE A full as said THEY ABSOLUTELY NEED A YEAR and are still proving themselves its quality and seems to show itself regularly. Power in reserve, I still use 3 12 connected to a 0.67 ohm load for this amp and although the car head unit goes to 36 which is the maximum volume when the subwoofer level is on - 2 is set it's a NEGATIVE 2, I can't go over the headunit volume level 16 because the bass is so strong it hurts my inner ear, the air movement easily causes the head to come off completely and on my lap lands. Absolutely amazing and so far exceeding all expectations in terms of power, efficiency, tuning etc. The amp is currently pushing 3 12" Gothic 1250w RMS subwoofers in ported boxes in my Messenger 03 and I have almost one Full 3/4" travel recorded in slow motion and still playback. I was originally going to pair my existing Razor 2500 amp (unicorn so to speak) and leave it on a second pair, but found that the 3 in parallel on this amp were frankly TOO TOO BASS for my messenger, literally as my inner ear vibrates from mine head and the air pressure knocks my hat off. oh my knees in the driver's seat, so both razor amps removed from the truck, except there's a subwoofer amp and a much smaller mid/treble amp for the door and super tweeters in the truck. I literally jumped 1/2"-1" of BASS, I had to turn the volume up to 26 of the 34 max levels. Subwoofer level set to 10 (max). now. This VFL COMP 2K has the sub levels set at 6 and volume at 15 and the whistle bounced much higher to hit the windshield at one point. AMAZING AMP, just hope its lifespan is as excellent as the sound quality, time will tell!
