Yes, assuming by "gaming chair" you mean a seat with a high back and a few pillows. The vendor is spreading false information. The armrests, which likewise scroll along the thread, are the only attachment points, the backrest is fixed in place, and the chair does not rock. Essentially the same renown, just with smaller buns. Waste of money. This is a repost of my December comment that was accidentally deleted. I'd just like to note that the material is very awful; my seat split all the way through after only six months.
