Review on 🌬️ Queen Size Winter Comforter: Natural Comfort Ultra Deluxe Mulberry Silk Filled, Dobby White Design by Kelvin Understanding

I bought this item because our niece lived with us who is allergic to down, wool and apparently just about everything. Based on some research, I'm buying a Natural Comfort Ultra Deluxe Dobby White 100% Natural Silk Duvet for the winter. The silk blanket was a success. Our niece did not have hives and did not sneeze during her stay. First, let me say that we LOVE comforters. We have 4 duvets and a duvet/feather duvet. After my niece left my wife and I thought we should try the silk comforter. OMG, this thing is AMAZING. The next morning, my wife and I couldn't stop raving about how handy it was to keep warm and regulate our temperature. My wife usually has to use fluff to compensate for a protruding leg, but she hasn't done that with silk. If we don't fluff our duvet we have a cold spot, but with silk there is no cold spot, no fluffiness. With down you need to generate some heat to keep the area warm, but with silk this doesn't seem to be a problem. My wife liked wool blankets, both for thermal comfort and weight. We have the original Hudson's Bay cover, but it was too itchy for me. Otherwise it was a good duvet. I would say that a silk duvet is the perfect middle ground between down and wool. It has weight but is lighter than wool and retains heat but regulates temperature better than down. We'll leave the silk comforter on our bed and see if we can keep loving it as the seasons change here in Colorado. Others noticed the smell. I didn't think it was that bad, but it's okay. But it smells the same as most things that are shipped to you from Asia. I don't know what it is, but I suspect it must be due to either humidity/pest control or the shipping/packaging process at their facilities. I left the silk comforter for a week before using it and turned it over a few times.
