I got this to add a USB front panel as I was missing the second 20 pin header on my board. That works great! The only downside is that it consumes MOLEX power, not just PCIe. I understand why they did this, but it caused a problem for me as I didn't have enough cable lengths for power. After rewiring the board, everything worked for me and I'm very happy that I have so many ports, more than I need.
