I was so amazed my ps2138 error was found easily on google and found videos and instructions on what is wrong, which part to buy and how to fix it replaced and cleared the trouble codes. First, I have a 2007 Acura TL. Mileage is 113000 km. Coming back from the airport I suddenly lost acceleration, error code ps2138, VSA error, and the check engine light came on. Acceleration dropped to almost zero. I pulled off the freeway in lane K and parked the car. I restarted it and after that everything was fine. About two weeks later it happened again. After research, I decided I could do this repair myself. I ordered this part here from Revain and it is an exact OEM Honda part. In the few days it took to arrive I reset my Acura error codes using the steps on Aurazine.com. It was very easy and I did it without an OBDC device. I've just accessed the back menu on my navigation system where it's stored. I also disconnected the battery to clear the check engine light. My part ran out and I started repairing. If you own an Acura, you know they love the plastic covers they put all over the engine. After removing them, I first removed the black cap on the sensor (two screws) and then unscrewed the screws holding the main bracket (two screws). and you must flip the sensor to remove the main bracket from the secondary bracket. We unscrew the sub-bracket from the sensor and old. As a final step, loosen the rear throttle cable nut and remove the wire from the sensor. Do this operation in reverse order and that's it. It took me about 40 minutes thanks to the frame brace I had to maneuver. When driving, I noticed that the accelerator pedal tension is much tighter than before due to the new control. But acceleration is smooth, there are no mistakes, the tires don't skid from accelerating to a red light. The internet and Amazon have saved me a lot of money. Many Thanks.
