After reading many reviews about this lantern here I decided to order a lantern for my boat that spends half a year in salt water. Steel isn't good for saltwater, so before installing it I ordered a Rigid Industries 40182 E-Series L Bracket Kit off eBay ($25) and went to Lowe's for Alen 8mm x 1/2" stainless steel screws ($2.50 US ).The light itself is very bright and if you are willing to work your feet a little to use stainless steel hardware you can make it a decent light for a seagoing vessel.Had it come with stainless hardware it would have been 5 stars given.
