I built my own home theater room and tried to make it very clean. I ran into a problem trying to hide all sorts of cables and this solution was perfect. I have an Apple TV mounted on the wall behind the TV (which slides out and rotates). By placing it on the wall behind the TV, I didn't have to run additional cables out of sight. Especially for a device that I can take to our holiday home or hotel. Very easy to install (once you figure out which screws go with which type of mount).
