Review on Aquatic Life Electronics Freshwater Aquarium by Ebony Shaw

I "upgraded" to this light from a previous Edge LED model with the hope that this light will exceed my expectations, just like the previous model has done for the last 5 years. Unfortunately I'm sending it back after a day of use. The brightness is noticeably brighter than the old model, and the flash and cloud features are fun. I've also enjoyed overclocking, but that's about all I like in that light. The 24/7 programmed settings are limited to marine locations, although it is a freshwater plant facility. The programmable timer functions are very complex and no advice is given to start setting your own lighting parameters. The very limited instruction manual mentions a website for help, but I couldn't find any further information. In my opinion the biggest downside to this light is that it doesn't have a moonlight setting. The older model had an amazing moonlight that could be left on for long periods so you could still see your fish but not too much light to encourage additional algae growth. This is not a cheap light and I expected a lot more from my previous experience with the edge light.
