Review on EcoSmart Recycled Georgia Pacific 2342R Sleeves by Susan Stephens

Decent eco-friendly glasses

I'm ashamed to admit that we have a plethora of disposable glasses, plates and dishes in our home. We have a very large family that comes over almost every day in the summer and if we were using regular cups, plates and so on I would wash the dishes in the dishwasher several times a day. It's just not possible. I try to buy greener things if they are of good quality and not too expensive because I feel guilty. So when I came across these 100% recycled Dixie EcoSmart mugs I thought they were worth a try! We've had them for about 3 weeks now and we're almost done with no third sleeve, I know it's crazy! We even use them as much as we can throughout the day, I swear! And so far I love these mugs! They're not as thick as regular Dixie hot drink cups, but still thick enough that we haven't had any issues with leaks or anything. When I drink hot drinks it gets quite warm outside but not so much that I can't handle it and I can keep them on all the time. However, they recommend using the sleeve for hot drinks. And I have to admit that I've been a waitress for many years, so my hands are tolerant of hotplates and more. Many of the lids can fall off. They are also environmentally friendly and not insanely expensive like other brands. At 10 cents per cup, they are on par with regular branded cups in wholesale. In general I am very happy with them!
