No problem with device detection (Windows 10). Bought with the intention of only solving problems or situations like cloning, data recovery, etc. with M.2 drives. So far this has worked great. It warms up, not much, but noticeably. Can't speak to durability or reliability as I've only used it twice and it's only intended to be used when I need to troubleshoot/access an M.2 drive. I didn't spend time measuring throughput, but that didn't bother me since the main issue was accessing the M.2 drive. Also, I confirm that this works for both keys.
