I tried several different blades to find one that held up better than the Stanley or the cheapest. To do this I use a ceramic rod and make a few strokes (2-4) or if I'm cutting something that will moderately damage my blade edge I make several strokes (4-20) on a thin DMT diamond and sharpen the rod used. . Both are done in a matter of seconds. I've used over 20 blades a day but with these I only use 1 maybe 2 a day. I know you're paying for quality, but as good as they are, they're a bit overpriced for me.
