This product works fine for what it's advertised for, but I was trying to get a little more out of it.I wired my gaming PC from my office to the TV in the living room. The idea behind getting this specific switch was the power button. In Windows 11 when you unplug an hdmi cord it disconnects the monitor from the PC, when you plug it back it it goes into the multi monitor set up. What I wanted was to be able to emulate that with this switch. I have another old Phillips HDMI switch that has big clunky manual buttons that does the job, but I wanted a newer switch with a remote. Unfortunately, this switch keeps the connection with the HDMI sources even when on another input or powered down, so the display does not disconnect from Windows.Ignoring that, this switch works fine if you just needed more HDMI ports. The remote is kind of ugly, but you can map it to another remote with the right universal remote.
