This is the 4 plate heater we bought. I give all previous 5 stars. They work as advertised and we were very satisfied. The grandchildren broke one when kicked while in rough condition. This is the first from the manufacturer and 3 days after we received it it is still unusable. In the process, fumes that smell like paint smoke and fumes are released, which you can smell in your eyes. Has been working in the garage for 3 days and still smells. I've wiped it down with a damp rag every day and wiped the back and it looks like the paint is peeling off. I strongly recommend buying this until the seller explains why this is happening. None of the other heaters I've bought give off this smell and smoke.
