Everything OK. It holds a medium-weight smartphone securely on the bumps and curves of the freeway. You just need to be careful when removing your phone or you will pull it straight out of the CD slot as the magnet's force is stronger than the holder's holding power. However, this at least holds in the slightly recessed CD slots common to many new cars (especially my 2015 Volvo S60) where other CD slot mounts I've tried don't hold at all. This is because it works by applying left/right pressure to the sides of the CD slot, rather than up/down like almost every other CD slot bracket.
