Heavier than they look
I was surprised by the weight of these shears, they are heavy and strong. On the downside, that weight makes them a bit awkward to carry on the chain they come with. They're great for embroidery and the case makes them less likely to pierce my bag when I take my sewing machine out on the road. However, I had them worn around my neck so as not to lose the scissors when I was doing handwork, and I find them too heavy for that. However, I like them a lot and will continue to use them. I just won't wear them.
