Big! Difference can be reduced to 12 PSI

Great simple reliable pressure switch. I got a 12psi differential in the spring. After that, adjust the main adjusting nut as needed. I set mine at 38psi and turned it off at 50psi. It is much easier to make all adjustments with compressed air prior to water installation as both fine and quick adjustments can be made with your air compressor regulator. For your health!
