Review on πŸ–€ Black White Color Pencils - 5Pcs Set for Artists and Beginners - Permanent Oil-Based Drawing Pencils by Kristen Simpson

Don't worry - drawing media

I bought these for white pencils to use in my workshop for marking dark wood, especially walnut. The first thing I noticed was that the "leads" were not centered in the pen. The problem is that when sharpening with a commercially available (rotary) pencil sharpener, the wood on one side of the pencil almost reaches the lead tip and the other side is correspondingly low. This way you are constantly sharpening a very short usable tip. The second and even more annoying problem is that the leads are very hard and brittle, so the pencil leaves more dust on the surface of your work than the lines. You have to go through the line multiple times to see the ones you can see. Try another brand!

Pros
  • OIL-BASED COLOR PENCILS: Regular pencils have 2 colors, white and black crayons. Perfect for creating colors quickly, you can easily create dynamic and bold designs that are great for a variety of drawing and coloring. Styles
